1) ROMBENDAZOLE 2.5%

is a broad-spectrum internal antiparasitic recommended for cattle, sheep, goats, in the treatment of parasitosis caused by: gastrointestinal nematodes, pulmonary strongylates, cestodes, muscular, visceral and serous cysticercosis, trematodes .

Directions

It is recommended for cattle, sheep, goats, in the treatment of parasitosis caused by:

gastrointestinal nematodes: Haemonchus spp, Ostertagia spp, Trichostrongylus spp, Nematodirus spp, Cooperia spp, Chabertia spp, Bunostomum spp, Oesophagostomum spp, Capillaria spp, Trichocephalus spp, Ascaris ovis, Neoascaris vitulorum.
Pulmonary strongylates: Dictyocaulus spp, Protostrogylus spp, Mullerius spp, Cystocaulus spp, Neostrongylus spp.
cestodes: Moniesia spp, Thysaniesia spp, Avitelina spp, located as adults in the small intestine.
muscular, visceral and serous cysticercosis: Echinococcus granulosus, Taenia saginata.
trematode: Fasciola spp, Dicrocelium spp, Paramphistomum spp.
CONTRAINDICATIONS

not to be administered in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

SIDE EFFECTS

In calves, lambs and goats, in the case of massive infestations, especially with Ascaris ovis and Neoascaris vitulorum, through the death of parasites are released toxins that can produce nervous phenomena characterized by ataxia, today, adynamism.

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES

The treatment is done orally, with a measuring cup (bottle) or with a syringe, in which the required amount of Rombendazole 2.5% suspension, well homogenized, has been introduced.

The dose is 3-5 ml suspension / 10 kg body weight, depending on the degree of infestation of the animal. It is recommended that treatment be repeated every 24 or 48 hours.

ADVICE ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION

The product will be administered at the level of the commissure (corner of the mouth), after which the animal's head is raised to swallow the product. The body weight of the animals will be estimated correctly to avoid underdoses and overdoses. Shake the vial before use.

The treatment program must include 4 annual administrations, respectively before grazing, during the grazing period, in July and September and after entering the stable.

WAITING TIME

Meat and organs: sheep, goats: 6 days.

Milk: cattle, sheep, goats: 4 days.

Cattle whose meat is intended for human consumption is not authorized.

SPECIAL STORAGE PRECAUTIONS

Store below 25 ºC.

Store in the original package.

Shelf life from first opening of the bottle: 30 days.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Do not use after the expiry date which is stated on the label.

SPECIAL WARNINGS

Special warnings for each target species

The following practices that increase the risk of developing resistance and may ultimately lead to ineffective treatment should be avoided:

too frequent and long-term administration of substances of the same class,
underdose due to misjudgment of animal weight.
Clinical cases of suspected resistance should be investigated using appropriate tests (eg fecal egg reduction test). Where test results suggest resistance to a particular substance, another substance belonging to another pharmacological class and having a different mechanism of action will be used.

 

 

2) ROMBENDAZOLE 10%

is a broad-spectrum internal antiparasitic that is recommended in cattle, sheep and goats for the treatment of the following parasitosis: gastrointestinal strongylatosis, pulmonary strongylatosis, cestodes and trematodes.

SIDE EFFECTS

TARGET SPECIES

DOSAGE, ROUTES AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION

The treatment is done orally, with a measuring cup (bottle), or with a syringe, in which the required amount of well-homogenized product has been introduced beforehand.

In cattle, the dose is 10 - 15 ml product / 100 kg body weight. The treatment is recommended to be repeated every 48 hours.
In sheep and goats the dose is 5 - 7.5 ml product / 50 kg body weight / day repeated every 24 hours, for the treatment of gastrointestinal helminthiasis and gastrophilosis.
In order to ensure the correct dose, the body weight of the animals should be determined as accurately as possible.

ADVICE ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION

The contention procedures will be followed. The product will be administered at the level of the commissure (corner of the mouth) after which the animal's head will be raised so that it can swallow the medicine.

WAITING TIME

In animals intended for slaughter for meat:

cattle 14 days;
sheep 4 days;
goats 10 days after the last treatment.
In animals for milk production 3 days after the last treatment.
